KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 23): Sime Darby Property Bhd said the UK's Battersea Power Station project in London had added 40,000 sq ft to its existing 500,000 sq ft office space to attract more tenants.

The Battersea Power Station project is undertaken by Malaysian consortium comprising SP Setia Bhd, Sime Darby Bhd and the Employees Provident Fund.

Sime Darby Property said in a statement today:" Across the wider Battersea Power Station development, there is at least a further 750,000 sq ft of office space to come."

On the additional 40,000 sq ft, Battersea Power Station Development Co head of office leasing Andrew Hilston said in the statement: “This is a great chance for a single business, co-working provider or business members club to occupy the remaining office space in the Power Station. This is also a unique opportunity to become part of our new community, based in an iconic building which provides an unrivalled address.”
