KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 27): Signature International Bhd rose 5.74% following an upgrade by CIMB IB Research and positive outlook for the stock.

At 9.15am, Signature rose 3.5 sen to 64.5 sen with 287,200 shares done.

CIMB IB Research upgraded Signature to “Add” at 61 sen with an unchanged target price of 94 sen and said Signature’s 1HFY18 net profit was in line with house expectations at 39% of full-year forecast, as CIMB Research expects 2H to be much stronger.

In a note Feb 26, the research house said Signature’s outstanding orderbook remains strong at RM150 million.

“Share price down 35% the past three months.

“The stock is trading at a huge 62% discount to its SOP per share of RM1.57.

“Upgrade from Hold to Add as we see value after the recent share price decline,” it said.
