SINGAPORE (June 18): The overall passenger load factor (PLF) of airlines in Singapore Airlines group improved 2.6 percentage points to 79.6% for the month of May, compared with a year ago.

Passenger carriage (measured in revenue passenger kilometres) increased 9.6% compared with last year, outpacing capacity (measured in available seat kilometres) injection of 6.1%.

Flag carrier Singapore Airlines' PLF improved 2.1 percentage points to 78.7%. Passenger carriage increased 6.8% compared with last year, against a 4.0% increase in capacity. PLF improved for all route regions, except...(click on link for full story on theedgesingapore.com)
