KUALA LUMPUR: Eden Inc Bhd, whose shares surged as much as 159% in early trade yesterday, saw short selling under its proprietary day traders (PDT) suspended after its daily short-selling trade limit hit 3% of the issued number of shares of the said securities.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, Eden said the short selling under PDT will be enabled today.

Eden shares closed 29 sen or 170.59% higher at 46 sen yesterday, giving it a market capitalisation of RM127.66 million.
