KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 23): The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) will call seven ministries to investigate six issues highlighted by the Auditor General's Report 2014, its chief Datuk Hasan Arifin said today.

Hasan told a press conference today that the seven ministries are:
• Agriculture and Agro-based Industries Ministry on its ST15 per cent and S15 per cent Rice Subsidy Management
• Rural and Regional Development Ministry on the Orang Asli Socioeconomic Development Programme (JAKAO)
• Education Ministry on Islamic National Secondary Schools Construction and Related Infrastructure projects management in Sarawak
• Works Ministry and Health Ministry on the Sultanah Nora Ismail Hospital, Batu Pahat's upgrade project
• Home Ministry on National Antidrug Agency quarters administration, and
• Defence Ministry on Putrajaya National Defence Academy construction project (Projek Pembinaan Pusat Pengajian Pertahanan Nasional Putrajaya — Puspahanas).

Hasan plans on calling them in February next year.

In another note, he also voiced his unhappiness that government agencies that received a four-star rating dropped to 60 agencies from 68 last year and those that received three-star rating also dropped to 70 from 72 in 2014.
