KUALA LUMPUR: Integrated engineering service provider Serba Dinamik Holdings Bhd has formed a joint-venture (JV) company with Junaco (T) Ltd for the construction of a chlor-alkali plant in Tanzania.

Serba Dinamik will hold a 25% stake in Sufini Holding Ltd while Junaco will hold the remaining 75%.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, Serba Dinamik said its wholly-owned subsidiary Serba Dinamik International Ltd on March 23 entered into a shareholders’ agreement with Junaco to form a strategic collaboration and to govern the material aspects of the JV, conduct of the business, and management of Sufini.

Sufini will hold 100% of Msufini (T) Ltd shares, which in turn will own the plant directly and has the sole purpose of executing the project.

On Oct 9, 2017, SDIL entered into a JV agreement with Junaco to set up the 45-tonne-per-day chlorine skid mounted chlor-alkali plant in the Msufini area in Tanzania.
