KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 21): Property player Sentoria Group Bhd is proposing a one-for-ten bonus issue of up to 52.8 million new shares.

The group also proposed a rights issue of up to 211.2 million warrants at 25 sen each on the basis of four warrants for every 10 shares held.

The group said it is seeking to raise up to RM52.8 million from the rights issue to be used mainly as working capital for its property development projects.

The bulk of the proceeds, amounting to RM35 million, will be used to partly finance the development costs of three projects — a development project comprising 1,022 single-storey houses and 19 single-storey shops in Kuantan, Pahang, a 500-acre resort city in Kuching, Sarawak, as well as another new resort city in Morib, Selangor.

Sentoria said the exercise price of the warrants has been fixed at 60 sen, representing a discount of 21.05% or 16 sen to the theoretical ex-all price of 76 sen after the bonus and rights issuances, calculated based on the five-day volume weighted average price of the existing share of 79.9 sen up to yesterday.

The entitlement date will be determined by the board of the group once all the necessary approvals have been obtained, the group added in a filing to Bursa Malaysia

Sentoria expects the exercises to be completed by December.
