SINGAPORE (Feb 23): SBS Transit has won the five-year contract awarded by the Land Transport Authority (LTA) for the Bukit Merah Bus Package at an estimated total fee of S$472 million over the contract period.

This is the fourth set of public bus services that has been put up for tender under the Bus Contracting Model (BCM), and the second bus tender award for SBS Transit under the new model.
