KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 1): Mohamad Razali Osman, the chief executive officer (CEO) of Sapura Industrial Bhd, has retired from his position with effect from Sep 30, 2014.

Razali, age 52, was appointed to the position of CEO of Sapura Industrial on April 01, 2009. Prior to that, he had held various senior positions in the group, which included general manager, senior general manager and chief operating officer.

Sapura Industrial’s announcement made no mention of a successor to the post of CEO.

The largest shareholder of the group as at May 2014 is Tan Sri Shamsuddin Abdul Kadir, who controls a 46.96% stake and is also the executive chairman.

Sapura Industrial shares closed at RM1.46 today, with a market capitalization of RM106.3 million.
