<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Salcon said Bach Dang-Salcon Joint Venture had received a letter of acceptance from Haiphong Water Joint Stock Company to rehabilitate and upgrade Haiphong Water supply system — phase two, and provide material supply and installation of Au Duong component.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>The JV was established as an unincorporated joint venture between Bach Dang Construction Corp JSC (75%) and Salcon Engineering Bhd (25%), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Salcon.</p></div><div class=inPageAd id=div-gpt-ad-inpage></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Salcon said the project would take two years to complete, and will begin on Jan 5 next year.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Hence, Salcon said the project will contribute positively towards the group's earnings for financial year ending Dec 31, 2018 (FY18) to FY20.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>At 2:43pm today, Salcon was trading at 46.5 sen, up one sen or 2.2%, valuing the group at RM303.14 million.</p></div>
