<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>"The rates [follow] the international market prices of refined petroleum products, which currently hovers at US$75 (RM309.99) per barrel for diesel, while that of RON95 is US$62 per barrel. The higher cost of diesel compared with petrol is due to the increased demand for diesel, especially from China, as well as an increase in petrol production&nbsp;in the global market," said the ministry of finance in a statement today.</p></div>
