<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Meanwhile, Malaysiakini also reported that council’s spokesperson A Kadir Jasin said Kuok will be here this week to meet with other members although no specific date has been set for his arrival.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Daim also said that Kuok’s nominee PPB Group Bhd chairman Tan Sri Oh Siew Nam will attend council meetings in the billionaire’s absence.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Kuok is a member of the council set up by Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad to advise the new government on economic and financial matters during the transition of power.</p></div>
