<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Ranhill had announced on Nov 2 last year that the suit was brought against RWTC and its associate companies, Ranhill Water (Hong Kong) Limited and Ranhill Technologies (Shanghai) Ltd,&nbsp; for alleged non-payment of fees totalling 19.94 million yuan (RM12.76 million based on the then exchange rate).</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>According to that announcement, Wahtoting was appointed by RWTC to source for a party to acquire the interest in Ranhill Water (Hong Kong) and to form a strategic partnership with RWTC. Ranhill said the agreement was dependent upon key performance indicators being met by Wahtoting, which went unmet.</p></div><div class=inPageAd id=div-gpt-ad-inpage></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>"We were of the firm view that the allegation was without merit and that the claim was frivolous and baseless," the group said in a Bursa Malaysia filing today. &nbsp;</p></div>
