KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 6): Former Minister Rafidah Aziz has asked why former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak is "so impatient to be hauled in"?

In a Facebook post earlier today, Najib had asked the PH Government to reveal any new development regarding allegations made by Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad and Rafidah just before the 14th General Election in May.

In a message to Malaysiakini, Rafidah responded: “Why is Najib so impatient to be hauled in... And to be questioned on that and possible links to 1MDB?”

Rafidah also said there is a Cabinet paper to prove her allegation and the current Government could release it.

Rafidah had alleged that 40,000 hectares of land were privatised to a company owned by three individuals and the company owned “every inch of land” belonging to the Defence Ministry or Armed Forces.

Najib said Rafidah had made use of the name of Allah to make her allegation which he added was aimed at stoking the anger of military personnel before GE14.

Rafidah responded: “Of course I always invoke Allah Almighty because I present only facts and want to speak before The Almighty as my witness. No politicking, no rubbish, no malice.

“After all, we are already witnessing the retribution of the Almighty on Najib & Co...when against all odds he and BN suffered defeat in GE14.

“Must he (Najib) still question the ultimate power of Allah Almighty, and the need for us puny humans to defer to His will, and to always remember never to betray the people's trust?”

Rafidah said new Defence Minister Mohamad Sabu has announced that her allegation is being investigated.
