SINGAPORE (June 15): Q&M Dental Group is acquiring the business assets of three dental practices in Singapore and Malaysia.

In a Thursday filing, Q&M Dental says its subsidiary Q&M Dental Surgery (Bandar Puteri Puchong), has agreed to purchase the business assets of CS Tan Dental Surgery in Kuala Lumpur from business owner, Christopher Tan, for RM300,000 (S$96,774).

The clinic is a sole proprietorship operated by Tan, who will also be signing a 10-year service agreement with Q&M.

Under the agreement, Tan has also guaranteed to maintain net profits after taxation of CS Tan Dental Surgery at no less than RM497,393 for the 10-year period after the acquisition.

Back on home turf, subsidiary Q&M Dental Surgery is acquiring the assets of Horizon Dental Surgery at 151 Chin Swee Road from business owner Charles Tan Kwak Chun for a consideration of S$350,000.

In addition, subsidiary Q&M Dental Surgery (Jelapang) is acquiring the assets of Starbite Dental at 211 Hougang Street 21 for S$200,000 in cash and a further S$150,000 under the terms of the agreement.

Sole shareholder Dr Meity Silvia Petrisia Heny Rumende will also sign a five-year service agreement with Q&M Dental.

Shares of Q&M closed 1 Singapore cent lower at 65 Singapore cents on Wednesday.
