KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 6): Private Pension Administrator (PPA) has appointed a new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Husaini Hussin effective Oct 1, 2016. Husaini will be taking over the role from Dato’ Steve Ong.

Husaini has been PPA’s Chief Operating Officer since October 2012, and was instrumental in the setting up of PPA’s operations since then. He was in charge of the Central Administration of Operations, Member Services, IT and Systems, and PPA’s online service, Private Retirement Schemes (PRS) Online Top Up.  

Husaini graduated from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, United States, in Actuarial Mathematics, and has previously worked with Petronas, Royal Dutch Shell, world-renown consulting firm KPMG Consulting, prior to joining PPA.

PPA is a Securities Commission-approved institution, appointed as the central administrator for the PRS, a voluntary long-term investment scheme which aims to help individuals with long term saving, for retirement.

PPA is responsible for giving members access to their online accounts, as well as providing members with lifetime account management.

PPA plays a key role in increasing public confidence in the PRS in Malaysia, to ensure of a reliable system that help individuals save for retirement.
