KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak has appointed chief secretary to the government, Tan Sri Mohd Sidek Hassan, to the board of advisers of 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB).

In a statement yesterday, 1MDB said the prime minister had also appointed Chang Zhenming, vice-chairman and president CITIC Group of China, to the board of advisers.

Najib is also the chairman of the board.
