KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 20): Palette Multimedia Bhd rose as much as six sen or 16% to 44.5 sen after the Internet-based service provider reported a first quarter RM3.03 million net profit against net loss a year earlier.

At 10:32am today, Palette was trading at 41 sen with some 25 million shares exchanged. It was the fifth most-active counter across Bursa Malaysia.

Yesterday, Palette said it registered a net profit of RM3.03 million for its first quarter ended Aug 31, 2017 versus a net loss of RM516,000 a year earlier.

Revenue grew significantly to RM7.84 million from RM222,000, the company told Bursa Malaysia.
