KUALA LUMPUR (June 7): Carimin Petroleum Bhd saw 13.55 million shares, representing a 5.8% stake in the company, crossed off market today.

According to Bloomberg data, the shares were transacted in two blocks, at 32 sen a piece. The shares were transacted at a 1.5% discount to Carimin’s closing market price of 32.5 sen today.

It is not known who the sellers and buyers of the blocks of shares were.

Carimin provides technical and engineering support services in the oil and gas industry in Malaysia.

Its largest shareholders are its managing director Mokhtar Hashim, who has a 25.17% stake in the company, Cipta Pantas Sdn Bhd (17.41%), Platinum Castle Sdn Bhd (10.9%) and Dynac Sdn Bhd (8.86%).

Carimin shares were up 2.5 sen or 8.3% at 32.5 sen today, giving it a market capitalisation of RM76 million.
