KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 21): Nova MSC Bhd rose 5% or 0.5 sen to 10.5 sen today after announcing it had bagged a contract related to the Changi Water Reclamation Plant in Singapore worth S$25.62 million (about RM78.6 million).

At 9.52am, the counter saw close to 9.3 million shares changing hands.

Yesterday, Nova MSC told Bursa Malaysia its 51% owned subsidiary CNA Development Pte Ltd (CNAD) has been awarded the tender to replace the supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) and instrumentation systems of the plant, with 36 months of comprehensive maintenance from Dec 1, 2017 to Nov 30, 2023.

The contract, said the group, is expected to contribute positively to its result for the financial year ending March 31, 2018 (FY18).
