Madonna, Marilyn Manson and Rihanna are just a few of the artistes set to return with new records in 2015. Here is a list of releases not to be missed this year.

Madonna
The pop icon will return in March 2015 with “Rebel Heart,” several tracks from which have been leaked to the Internet. Since Dec 20, six tracks have been available for pre-order from the album, which was produced in part by Kanye West.

Rihanna
The beloved Barbadian singer has largely kept secret the details of her next album, which her fans are calling “R8.” The only thing known about this mysterious record is the year of its release: 2015. However, the star indicated on Instagram that she is already working on the new album and even shared a musical excerpt.

U2
Last October, the Irish band told Q Magazine that its next album “Songs of Experience” was 70% completed. Bono’s band is known for its productivity, so it seems likely that this follow-up to “Songs of Experience” will be released at some point in 2015. The band will be on tour this year to promote its previous album, which was released for free on iTunes.

Muse
The British musicians announced their return to the studio on Instagram, confirming the arrival of a new record this spring. As Matthew Bellamy told NME, the sound is expected to be less experimental than the brand’s previous work.

Asaf Avidan
The Israeli singer will return in early 2015 with a follow-up to “Different Pulses”. Due for release on Jan 12, the new record will include the single “Over My Head,” which the artiste shared in October.

Marilyn Manson
Last October, the provocateur and recording artiste dropped the single “Third Day of a Seven Day Binge,” which is available for free download on his website. The track sets the tone for his forthcoming album, “The Pale Emperor”, which will go on sale starting Jan 19. A few days later, on Jan 21, Manson will begin promoting the new record on his “Hell Not Hallelujah Tour.”  — AFP
