KUALA LUMPUR (May 15): Eduspec Holdings Bhd shares rose as much as 8.5 sen or 89% to 18 sen so far today as investors evaluated the company's outlook after Malaysia Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad-led Pakatan Harapan's win in the country's 14th General Election.

According to Eduspec's annual report, Kencana Capital Sdn Bhd owns 36.62 million shares or a 3.655% stake in Eduspec as at January 8, 2018. Bloomberg data shows that Tan Sri Mokhzani Mahathir owns Kencana Capital.

At 10:30am today, Eduspec shares were traded at 13.5 sen with some 72 million units transacted. The second most-active stock across Bursa Malaysia was traded between 10 sen and 18 sen so far today.
