MITSUBISHI Motors Malaysia, the official distributor of Mitsubishi vehicles in Malaysia, introduced the upgraded Mitsubishi Pajero on Tuesday.

The flagship SUV from Mitsubishi has been further enhanced not only with a more luxurious look in terms of exterior and interior updates, but on driving pleasure and safety features as well.

The 2015 Mitsubishi Pajero now comes with a new front bumper design incorporating a more muscular grille design, day-time running lights, and fog lamps with chrome surround.

Fully imported from Japan, the upgraded Mitsubishi Pajero is priced at RM291,177.50 on-the-road without insurance. Owners also get to enjoy a three-year or 100,000km warranty.

To keep passengers entertained during long journeys, a rear entertainment system comprising a nine-inch display with two wireless headphones is now fitted as standard, along with leather seating, powered driver’s seat, automatic climate control, and rear air-conditioning with independent control, along with roof vents for second- and third-row occupants.

Powered by a 3.8-litre V6 engine with 250PS and 329Nm, the six-cylinder engine is equipped with Mitsubishi’s innovative valve timing electronic control (Mivec) technology. It is paired with an Invecs-II five-speed automatic transmission with sport mode combining the smooth-shifting convenience of an automatic with the control of a manual gearbox when needed.

Harnessing the power from the Mivec V6 engine is Mitsubishi’s Super Select 4WD system, which ensures superior traction with four driver-selectable modes catering to various road conditions and off-road terrain that the Pajero may be subjected to.

This is complemented by Mitsubishi active stability and traction control function that automatically adjusts brake and engine output to stabilise the vehicle when conditions warrant. The Pajero comes with front, side and curtain airbags. For more information, visit www.mitsubishi-motors.com.my
