KUALA LUMPUR (March 30): Malaysia's Court of Appeal ruled today the Government must give housebuyers the right to be heard before policymakers grant property developers' extension of time (EOT) to complete projects, Malaysiakini reported today.
"In a landmark decision, the Court of Appeal today ruled that the Urban Wellbeing, Housing and Local Government Ministry must give housebuyers the right to be heard before they give developers EOT to complete a project.
"The decision today would affect thousands of housebuyers," Malaysiakini reported.
