KUALA LUMPUR (July 10): Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB)'s non-independent and non-executive director Datuk Ruhaizah Mohamed Rashid has resigned from her post following her retirement from the Ministry of Transport.

Ruhaizah was the deputy secretary general (policy) for the Ministry of Transport and had been appointed to MAHB's board on June 3, 2016.

In a filing to Bursa Malaysia, the group also announced the resignation of alternate director Datuk Chua Kok Ching.

"Datuk Chua Kok Ching has ipso facto ceased as an alternate director to Datuk Ruhaizah Mohamed Rashid on the board of directors of Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd with effect from July 7, 2017," it said.

Chua is currently the deputy secretary general (management) in the Ministry of Transport.

As at 2:30pm, MAHB shares were unchanged at RM8.45, with a market capitalisation of RM14.02 billion.
