<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Axis REIT said it had received approval from the Securities Commission Malaysia vide its letter on Tuesday on the appointment. LaBrooy will continue to serve the board as a non-independent non-executive director after his retirement.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>LaBrooy, 63, has been serving in his current post for seven years.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Leong, 38, joined Axis REIT in 2006 and was promoted to chief financial officer on Aug 5, 2008. She was appointed executive director on Nov 15, 2011, before being promoted to COO on Jan 19.</p></div>
