KUALA LUMPUR (July 15): Stone Master Corp Bhd has appointed its executive director Koh Mui Tee as managing director, replacing Tan Lee Chin who had resigned from the post on Nov 26, 2014 in order to fully focus on her other listed company.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, the marble and granite producer said Koh, 57, is presently the chairman of the company’s risk management committee.

"Koh has over 30 years of practice in corporate law, property law and civil litigation, where he has amassed vast and extensive professional legal work experience and knowledge," said Stone Master.

"He is well acquainted with various aspects of corporate, banking and managerial activities from his dealings with various local and foreign corporations, banks and financial institutions, securities firms, construction and property development companies as well foreign consultancy firms," it added.

As at 4.49pm, shares of Stone Master (fundamental: 0.15, valuation: 0.3) were traded up 2.04% at 25 sen today, for a market capitalisation of RM22.03 million.
