KUALA LUMPUR (Jan 23): KNM Group has secured a contract worth US$6.83 million (RM28.17 million) to supply large carbon steel pressure vessels.

In a filing today, KNM said its wholly-owned unit KNM Process Systems Sdn Bhd was awarded the contract by TTSJV WLL.

TTSJV WLL is a jointly-owned company incorporated in Bahrain by the Technip group of companies and Samsung Engineering Co Ltd.

"The supply and delivery duration of the product is for a period of 13 months commencing from the purchase order for the supply to be issued within 15 calendar days from the date of the award," said KNM.

At 3.38pm, shares of KNM rose half a sen or 5.26% to 10 sen for a market capitalisation of RM236.94 million.
