KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 15): The FBM KLCI is seen hovering around the 1,730-1,740 level today, in line wih the weaker overnight close at most global markets.

Sentiment at the local bourse has been tepid with bears remaining control.

World stocks were down for the fourth day in a row on Tuesday, while strong economic growth in Germany boosted the euro to an almost three-week high, according to Reuters.

Wall Street was lower on weak oil prices, uncertainty about U.S. tax policy and the economy's ability to deal with more interest rate hikes. European stocks fell to a two-month low, it said.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 57.08 points, or 0.24 percent, to 23,382.62, the S&P 500 lost 9.3 points, or 0.36 percent, to 2,575.54 and the Nasdaq Composite dropped 35.68 points, or 0.53 percent, to 6,721.92, said Reuters.

Based on corporate announcements and news flow yesterday, stocks in focus today may include: Eastern & Oriental Bhd, Petra Energy Bhd, Apex Healthcare Bhd, Scomi Energy Services Bhd, Paramount Corp Bhd, Lay Hong Bhd, Sunway Construction Group Bhd and Ho Wah Genting Bhd.
