KUALA LUMPUR: Tune Protect Group Bhd has appointed Khoo Ai Lin as group chief executive officer (CEO), replacing Razman Hafidz Abu Zarim who took an advisory role at the group at end-December 2018.

In a statement yesterday, the general insurer said Khoo, 50, joined the group in 2017 as CEO of Tune Protect Malaysia. Currently, she is also a director of Tune Protect Re Ltd, and will continue leading Tune Protect Malaysia until further notice.

“As the new group CEO, Khoo aims to deliver the group’s digital agenda by accelerating the expansion of international businesses and leveraging the AirAsia and Tune Group ecosystem,” said Tune Protect. “Tune Protect Group is in a prime position for a very positive year ahead,” said Khoo.

With over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, Khoo was the chief marketing officer of Prudential Assurance Malaysia Bhd before joining the Tune Protect group in 2017.
