KUALA LUMPUR: Kerjaya Prospek Group Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary Kerjaya Prospek (M) Sdn Bhd yesterday accepted two award letters for commercial real estate construction projects with a collective value of RM282.25 million, to further grow its order book.

Kerjaya Prospek told Bursa Malaysia that the award letters are from property developer Nusmetro Group, which plans to undertake a project along Jalan Duta Kiara in Mont’Kiara, and another in Jalan Cheras here. “It further enlarges the group’s order book and is expected to provide the group with a steady revenue stream over four years,” Kerjaya Prospek said. It added that the Mont’Kiara and Jalan Cheras construction contracts are valued at RM29.82 million and RM252.43 million respectively.

For the Mont’Kiara contract, the group said it will undertake the “construction of sub-structure works for the project, comprising a block of 51-storey office building and a three-storey basement car park”. The Jalan Cheras project comprises two blocks of 50-storey commercial buildings with a total of 1,319 office units  on top of an eight-storey car park podium.

Kerjaya Prospek said it will undertake the “construction of main building works for the project”. It said the Mont’Kiara project was expected to start yesterday and is due for completion on Sept 25, 2020. The Jalan Cheras project, expected to start on Feb 1, 2019, is due for completion on March 31, 2022.
