KUALA LUMPUR (July 16): Kelly Outsourcing & Consulting Group (KellyOCG), a leader in innovative talent management solutions, has been awarded the 2014 Top International SHRM (The Society for Human Resource Management) Learning System Partner.

In a statement today, KellyOCG said this recognition signifies the long-term partnership between KellyOCG and SHRM, the world's largest human resource (HR) professional association, to roll out its globally-recognized HR certification courses.

“The award is a testament to our ongoing commitment to HR excellence and validates KellyOCG’s efforts in advocating HR knowledge and professionalism,” said Anthony Raja Devadoss, KellyOCG’s regional vice president.

Over the last seven years, KellyOCG has seen a total of 167 HR professionals in Malaysia, taking SHRM certification programmes.

Within the private sector, KellyOCG aims to double the existing percentage of internationally-certified HR practictioners in Malaysia by the end of 2016.

Devadoss added that the SHRM offerings were in line with Malaysia’s goal of becoming a high-income nation by 2020, as it would require sufficient highly-skilled HR practitioners who can attract, develop and retain top talents.

KellyOCG, which is currently SHRM’s preferred provider for internationally-recognised credentials in HR certification, is also scheduled to roll out SHRM certifications in Jakarta and in the third quarter of this year.
