Johor Sultan ups stake further in 7-Eleven

KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 14): The Sultan of Johor, Sultan Ibrahim ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar, who has since late last month significantly increased his interests in 7-Eleven Malaysia Holdings Bhd, bought an additional 874,100 shares between Sept 7 and Sept 12. 

The Johor Sultan emerged as 7-Eleven Malaysia Holdings Bhd’s second largest individual shareholder last month, which now has a total shareholding of 104.37 million shares, equivalent to 9.4% in direct interest. 

As at 11.00 am, shares in 7-Eleven was unchanged at RM1.46, for a market capitalisation of RM1.622 billion.
