KUALA LUMPUR (June 26): HLT Global Bhd said its unit has served a winding-up petition on Central Medicare Sdn Bhd (CM), as the latter had failed to make full payments for services provided by HLT Global.

As at June 25, the remaining outstanding amounts that CM needed to pay is RM11.37 million, according to the filing with Bursa Malaysia this evening.

HLT said its wholly-owned HL Advance Technologies (M) Sdn Bhd had supplied, delivered and installed the glove-dipping machines for Central Medicare at the latter’s request.

However, after the completion of works, CM had failed, refused and neglected to make the full payments, which led to the filing of the petition, it said.

The hearing for the winding-up petition has been fixed on Sept 26, HLT Global said, with further developments to be announced to the stock exchange in due course.

For the first quarter ended March 31, 2018, HLT Global turned in revenue of RM16.21 million and a net loss of RM10.72 million.
