KUALA LUMPUR (May 26): Shares of Hibiscus Petroleum Bhd has been suspended from trading from 2.58pm today, at the company’s request.

In an announcement to Bursa Malaysia, Hibiscus said the suspension was effected, pending an announcement from the company.

Prior to the trading halt, Hibiscus shares slid 1.5 sen or 3.53% to 41 sen, after nearly 1.77 million shares were traded, giving it a market capitalisation of RM591.98 million. 

The counter has lost 8.89% over the week, from when it was trading at 45 sen on May 22.
