<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, Handal said its 99.88% owned subsidiary Handrill Sdn Bhd (HSB) has secured an umbrella contract for a duration of three years with a one-year extension option.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>“The details of the scope of works in relation to the umbrella contract will be addressed in a work order in accordance with the detailed scope of works as provided under the contract and/or work order request,” it said.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Handal expects the contract to contribute positively towards the earnings and net assets of the group.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Meanwhile, Handal said the risk factors affecting the award include execution risks such as availability of skilled manpower and materials, changes in prices of materials, changes in political, economic and regulatory conditions.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>At the midday break today, Handal traded unchanged at 24 sen, giving it a market capitalisation of RM38.29 million.</p></div>
