KUALA LUMPUR (July 31): Mohd Faisal Kaim Abdullah has resigned as the chief executive officer of agrochemicals company Halex Holdings Bhd to pursue other interests.

The group said in a filing to the stock exchange that Faisal's resignation was with effect from today.

He has been the CEO of Halex since May last year. Prior to that the 54-year-old served as the company's managing director and chief risk officer.

Halex shares did not see any trade today. The counter was last traded at 87 sen last Thursday, with a market capitalisation of RM92.2 million.
