KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 11): Plastic-component manufacturer Ge-Shen Corp Bhd was among Bursa Malaysia top gainers, after posting a significant improvement in its net profit for the third quarter ended Sept 30, 2015 (3QFY15).

On Monday (Nov 9), Ge-Shen reported a net profit of RM7.39 million in 3QFY15, compared to RM288,000 a year earlier. Cumulative nine-month net profit rose to RM10.86 million, from RM1.28 million a year earlier.

Today, Ge-Shen shares jumped as much as 36 sen or 25% to RM1.82. At 10:47am, the counter pared gains at RM1.68, with some 5.4 million shares done.

At 11:53am, the stock changed hands at RM1.69 to become the fourth-largest gainer.
