KOTA KEMUNING (Nov 26): Gamuda Land will be unveiling its first service apartment project in its 1,530-acre Gamuda Cove development in next month or January next year, said its CEO Ngan Chee Meng.

“There will be 1,000 units of serviced apartments spread across five to six blocks, with built-ups ranging between 650 sq ft and 950 sq ft. These units will be launched in phases,” he told the reporters after the strategic partnership MoU signing ceremony of Gamuda Cove’s Discovery Park today.

However, he did not disclose the selling price of the service apartment which is located close to Gamuda Cove's water theme park.

He is confident in the sales of the service apartment project as he expected the sales momentum to continue after the company soft-launched its first phase residential terraced homes, Palma Sands, in September this year.

“All the 180 units of the terraced homes have been taken up. We are looking at launching the second phase of landed residential development in April or May next year,” he added.

Palma Sands is slated to be completed in 2021, while the service apartment is slated to be completed in 2022.

The 1,530-acre township development is the 19th project by Gamuda Land which already has a presence in Malaysia, Vietnam, Singapore and Australia.

The leasehold development has an estimated GDV of RM20 billion and scheduled to be completed in 2038.

“We have vast experience in place-making, this could help us in building Gamuda Cove, to achieve our vision in positioning this township as the next tourism and entertainment hub in the Southern Klang Valley,” said Ngan.

He noted that unlike other township development, Gamuda Cove emphasis on entertainment infrastructure building which could complement KLIA Aeropolis development.

“We have integrate the nature and vibrancy in Gamuda Cove. It’s a place where one could find lush greeneries with exciting entertaining activities, dining and shopping experience,” he said.

Ngan added that with the completion of an interchange from North South Expressway Central Link (Elite Expressway) to Gamuda Cove in March or April next year, the township will soon become the next destination for tourists and property buyers.
