KUALA LUMPUR: Samsung’s latest flagship device, the Galaxy Note9, has arrived on Malaysians shores. It was welcomed by an excited crowd of 2,000 people who attended its launch at Bukit Jalil’s Arena Axiata yesterday.

At the event, the crowd was further wowed by the Taekwondo demo team, K-Tigers, who presented a martial arts performance which was “the perfect representation of the new device’s speed and power”, said Samsung.

“The Galaxy Note9 combines power, productivity, sheer endurance, and entertainment into one single device. Coupled with a strong defense-grade security feature, this is the go-to device that fits every need.

“Consumers nowadays are consistently looking out for a smartphone that is capable of doing it all — from taking great photos, to smooth gaming experiences and business presentations. I’m glad to announce that now, you have the perfect option in the Galaxy Note9,” said Yoonsoo Kim, president of Samsung Malaysia Electronics.

A key feature of the Note9 is its noise reducing, dual aperture camera — Samsung’s smartest yet. Aside from the scene optimiser, it also features Flaw Detection to alert users if a picture taken is not of the best quality.

Another standard for the phone is the Samsung DeX, now with a high-speed 10nm processor, which provides a PC-experience for users.

The Samsung Galaxy Note9 will be on sale from Aug 24 at retail prices of RM3,699 (128GB) and RM4,599 (512GB). It is available in Midnight Black and Metallic Copper with matching S Pen colours, and Ocean Blue with a Yellow S Pen.
