KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 21): The former president and managing director of Alcatel-Lucent Malaysia Sdn Bhd, Mohd Fazlin Shah Mohd Salleh, 46, is now the new group chief executive officer (CEO) of Damansara Realty Bhd.

In a filing on Bursa Malaysia today, Damansara Realty said that Mohd Fazlin served as president and managing director of Alcatel-Lucent from Sept 2009 to March 2014.

He had then served as a business quality management expert with Clarity OSS (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, from July 2014 to June 2015.

Separately, Damansara Realty announced the resignation of its current managing director and CEO, Syed Omar Syed Mohamed, 47, on “personal reasons”.

Syed Omar was appointed to the post in June 6 last year.

Damansara Realty (fundamental :0.95; valuation:0.3) is involved in property development, as well as parking management and hospital engineering and technical solutions.

Its shares slid 0.85% today to close at 58.5 sen, for a market capitalisation of RM182.53 million.
