KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 12): Fajarbaru Builder Group Bhd secured a RM22.05 million contract from Pos Malaysia Bhd to renovate the latter’s Integrated Parcel Sortation Centre at Pos Malaysia International Hub at Kuala Lumpur International Airport.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the group said its wholly-owned subsidiary Fajarbaru Builder Sdn Bhd entered into a contract for renovation and fitting-out works with Pos Malaysia for the expansion, renovation and other associated works on the said parcel centre.

The contract, to be completed in eight months, is expected to contribute to the group’s earnings for the financial years ending June 30, 2018 (FY18) and June 30, 2019 (FY19).

Fajarbaru’s share price gained 0.5 sen or 0.59% to close at 84.5 sen today, giving it a market capitalisation of RM312.21 million.

Year-to-date, the counter has appreciated 55.05% from 54.5 sen on Dec 30 last year.
