<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner>KUALA LUMPUR (March 16): Esthetics International Group Bhd (EIG) has been granted a four-and-a-half-year extension of its distributorship with US-based premium skincare provider Dermalogica Inc. 
 
EIG has been the exclusive distributor of Dermalogica skin care products since 1989 and currently distributes Dermalogica through its 94 wholly-owned AsterSpring professional skin care salons, retail kiosks and department store concession counters in Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand and Indonesia. 
 
In a bourse filing today, EIG said its wholly-owned subsidiary EIG Dermal Wellness (M) Sdn Bhd will continue to be the exclusive distributor for Dermalogica skin care products in six countries, namely Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Thailand and Brunei until Dec 31, 2024, with an option to extend or renew for a further period. 
 
“With focused sales and marketing efforts and barring unforeseen circumstances, the extension is expected to positively contribute to the group's future profits, earnings per share and net assets,” EIG said. 
 
Shares of EIG closed unchanged at 49 sen today, giving it a market capitalisation of RM116 million.</div>
