<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 23): Esthetics International Group Bhd (EIG) has decided to cease its exclusive distributorship of LPG skin care equipment in Malaysia, effective Jan 17, 2018.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>The group said the decision was mutually agreed between EIG’s unit EIG Dermal Wellness (M) Sdn Bhd and medical treatment group LPG Systems, following a change in terms which are no longer favourable and of interest to the group.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, EIG said that after it stops distributing LPG skin care equipment, it will channel its attention and resources to its core brands and businesses within the group.</p></div><div class=inPageAd id=div-gpt-ad-inpage></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>It added that the discontinuation of the distributorship is deemed to be immaterial to the turnover and profitability of the group.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>EIG’s shares were untraded today. Their last closing price was 81 sen, registered on Oct 13.</p></div>
