PETALING JAYA (Sept 30): Eco World Development Group Bhd (EcoWorld) has launched Dremien at Eco Ardence in Setia Alam, which comprises 259 units of garden homes, semidees and bungalows with a gross development value (GDV) of RM290 million.

The garden homes have built-ups ranging from 2,401 sq ft to 2,411 sq ft while the semidees and bungalows have built-ups ranging from 2,530 sq ft to 2,724 sq ft and 3,101 sq ft to 4,917 sq ft respectively.

Prices for the garden homes start from RM1.4 million while the semidees and bungalows are from RM1.6 million and RM2.4 million respectively.

Divisional general manager Liew Tian Xiong told reporters that Setia Alam and its surrounding areas have a population catchment of around 2.5 million, with the majority of them being new and young families.

"The increasing business activities have seen around 35,000 jobs created. The increasing population and job opportunities could support the demand for houses," he added.

Meanwhile, EcoWorld is also preparing for the official opening of Ardence Labs in January next year.

The 27-acre lifestyle commercial hub will feature eateries, a grocer, a pet hotel, 25 retail spaces, an urban garden, event spaces, two football fields, art spaces, a co-working space and an education hub.

Sizes for the retail lots range from 290 sq ft to 2,000 sq ft.

Currently, the company has secured 18 tenants including its anchor tenant Jaya Grocer, pet hotel Cocomomo Pets Hotel, football academy Ardence Arena, food and beverage outlets Tealive, Llao Llao, Haraju Cube, Croissant Taiyaki, Gindako and Ottimo Dessert.

Eco Ardence is an RM8.58 billion 533-acre freehold township launched in September last year as a joint venture between EcoWorld and Cascara Sdn Bhd. The 533-acre freehold development has a GDV of RM8.5 billion and will be developed over the next 10 to 15 years.

Up north, EcoWorld has launched the first phase of landed homes of the Eco Horizon township in Batu Kawan, Penang.

Eco Horizon is a 300-acre township development of which some 230 acres will house over 2,000 landed homes while 70 acres will be used for its commercial component.

With a GDV of RM7 billion, it will be developed over a period of 10 years.

The phase one development comprises 2-storey terraced homes with built-ups ranging from 2,290 sq ft to 2,601 sq ft, with the selling price starting from RM800,000.

Phase one will have a total of 704 units of which about half will be open for sale this weekend.

The leasehold township development is also EcoWorld's largest project and the first gated-and-guarded development in Batu Kawan.

EcoWorld kicked off its mega launch today, where three brand new projects were launched alongside new phases from Eco Ardence in Setia Alam and Eco Majestic in Semenyih.

The other new launches are residential properties in Eco Forest, which is also in Semenyih, Eco Grandeur in Puncak Alam, as well as the first phase of the commercial hub Eco Majestic City.

Also present at the media tour of their projects were EcoWorld CEO and president Datuk Chang Khim Wah, as well as divisional general managers Datuk Hoe Mee Ling, Ho Kwee Hong and Evon Yap.
