KUALA LUMPUR (May 9): As voters remained at polling stations waiting to cast their votes past the closing bell, those who managed to cast their votes earlier in the day have begun travelling back to the Klang Valley.

As at 5pm, traffic was heavy heading north from Senai to Yong Peng in Johor along the North South Expressway. The same highway saw heavier traffic southbound from Gopeng to Trolak.

Some voters on social media had complained that they waited up to six hours to cast their votes.
