KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 9): Property developer player DutaLand Bhd's stock has risen 0.76% to touch its yearly high of 66.5 sen in morning trade today following Boustead Plantations Bhd's plan to acquire the former's plantation land in Sabah for RM750 million.

At 11.06am, DutaLand saw some 26.2 million shares exchanging hands and was the eighth most actively traded stock on Bursa Malaysia.

On Oct 6, the group announced that Boustead Plantations proposed to buy 42 parcels of DutaLand's plantation land in Sabah measuring a collective 11,600ha from the its subsidiary, Pertama Land & Development Sdn Bhd.

Year to date, the counter has rallied 66%. It saw a yearly low of 39.5 sen on Sept 11 last year.
