KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 21): D&O Green Technologies Bhd is likely to see a double-digit revenue growth for its financial year ending Dec 31, 2018 (FY18), driven by increasing sales order of automotive light-emitting diodes (LEDs).

At a press briefing after the group's extraordinary general meeting today, group managing director Tay Kheng Chiong said the increasing adoption of LED headlamps in the automotive industry bodes well with D&O's future growth.

"If you look at our average revenue growth over the past three years or so, it was about 15%, I think this year should be about the same," he said.

"Our customers' forecasted that globally, adoption of LED car headlamps is about 3% of the total market, and they foresee that the number could go up to the 15% level by 2021. Big part of the growth will be coming from China," he added.

At market break, the counter was trading at 66.5 sen, up one sen or 1.53%, with a market capitalisation of RM664.95 million.
