<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>In a statement yesterday, the group said EC-Council Global Services Sdn Bhd (EGS) will acquire 100% of DNeX Technology Sdn Bhd, which operates a security operations centre in Malaysia. DNeX will, in turn, acquire a 15% stake in EGS, which offers services such as security training, technology and professional services locally.</p></div><div class=inPageAd id=div-gpt-ad-inpage></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>DNeX executive deputy chairman Datuk Samsul Husin said the partnership was timely and bodes well for the group.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>“With the advancement in digital technology and the development of more sophisticated cybersecurity that disrupt conventional businesses worldwide, we believe EC-Council has what it takes to push DNeX to new heights,” said Samsul.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>EC-Council Group chief executive officer and president Jay Bavisi said the deal would allow it to bring its expertise to Malaysian enterprises.</p></div>
