KUALA LUMPUR (July 17): Digi.Com Bhd shares climbed as much as 33 sen or 8% to RM4.60 after the mobile telecommunication network provider declared a tax-free dividend of 4.9 sen a share and reported higher net profit.
 
At 5pm, Digi shares closed at RM4.59 among Bursa Malaysia top gainers with some 14 million units traded. Earlier, Bloomberg reported that J.P. Morgan upgraded Digi shares to ‘neutral’ from ‘underweight’, with a higher target price at RM4.40 from RM4.10 previously.

On Friday, Digi declared the dividend when it reported that net profit increased to RM770.45 million in the first half ended June 30, 2018 from RM732 million a year earlier.
